Our Process
1. Initial Consultation – this is when you get to describe your vision and ideas and when we gather the basic, necessary information to understand the project. Discussing the concept together, we make suggestions and offer ideas about how the project might be realized.
2. Cost Estimate – this is when we provide rough costing in clear and straightforward way. Where there is choice – for example in what kind of plumbing fixtures you want to install – we make sure cost range is indicated.
3. Commissioning of BRC Contracting – this is when we agree to move forward together. We both review some paperwork, sign documents and a deposit for the work is made.
4. Making Final Decisions – this is when you, the client, goes shopping for the furnishing and fixtures we will install on your behalf. We provide you with a list of suppliers we think will provide you with quality products at reasonable price, you pick and we pick up.
5. Final Costing – this is where we can be more precise with the total cost of the build/renovation. Fixed variables are no longer ‘variable’ (because you have decided on what fixtures you want to use) and we have gone to our labour pool and determined exact prices for carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc. You can be assured in transparency in this process as BRC Contracting simply charges a management fee (which of course we disclose).
Agree to a Start Date – this is where we decide when to start and when to finish the work, at your discretion.
